Due to the widespread outbreak of COVID-19, University Heights Dental has updated some of our daily procedures. You’ll still receive the same exemplary service from our dedicated team, however to ensure the safety of all our patients here are some changes we have implemented If you have any questions please call me.

  • We will ask that you call us when you arrive at the office for your appointment and you will be advised when to come in.
  • We ask that you come to your appointment ALONE. Please do not bring your spouse, children, or any other people unless you need assistance.  If your child has an appointment and is under 12, we ask that only 1 parent accompany the child. Children 12 and over will be taken back alone.  Please refrain from bringing other siblings in.
  • One of our staff members will take your temperature prior to entering the clinical area.
  • Once in the clinical area you will be asked to wash your hands and rinse your mouth with antibacterial mouth wash before entering the operatory room.
  • You may see that our reception area will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys and so forth, since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect.
  • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
  • Your email and text confirmations will include a Covid 19 screening form that will need to be completed prior to your appointment. You will need to fill it out again the day of your appointment.
  • You may be asked to make any copayments prior to your appointment time over the phone so that we can minimize contact at the front desk.
  • Medical history updates have always been done once per year, if you are due to update it we will email or text it to you to fill out prior to your appointment.
  • We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient safe in our practice.  To make an appointment please call our office at 216-382-6600 or visit our website at universityheightsdental.com.
Thank you for your patience with us during this unprecedented time.  We appreciate YOU as our patient.  We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors, and friends.
